Becws began in June 2022. I (Becca) had always dreamed of starting my own business, so when I found myself with some free time on my hands, I decided to make it happen.
I have always had a passion for baking; growing up in Wales and spending most of my life surrounded by the Welsh language and culture has meant that I wanted to keep things traditional and local, as well as promote the Welsh language.
My cakes which use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible can be found in y Gornel, Woodlands Cafe or at the Farmers Market in Aberystwyth.
We work with Aberystwyth Coffee and Jenkins Milk and are constantly looking at ways in which we can support other small businesses – whether through collaborative working or simply by buying their products!
